'Dancing With the Stars': 'Idol' Pia Toscano confirmed to perform with Mark Ballas
In what has to be one of the most unlikely reality TV crossovers ever, a recently felled "American Idol" finalist is taking their talents to competitor "Dancing With the Stars."
ABC confirms to Zap2it --backstage at the April 19 results show just before the official announcement -- that surprise "Idol" eliminee Pia Toscano will sing during the April 26 episode of "DWTS."
First reported by TMZ, the nitty gritty of Toscano's appearance seems curious given the iron-clad contracts at "Idol." It will also fuel the media fire of speculation surrounding her rumored romance with "DWTS" pro Mark Ballas -- especially since Ballas plans to dance during Toscano's performance.
So do you think the two are really an item or just playing to their audience?

Keith Lemon and Stacey Solomon present a brand new star-studded singing competition. Each week, two celebrity teams go up against each other, trying to deliver the best performances of modern and classic hits while taking part in challenges designed to distract them. A celebrity panel are there to pass judgement but it is the studio audience who decide which team will go through to the final round to try to win money for Teenage Cancer Trust. Stars taking part in the series include Ray Quinn, Brigitte Nielsen, Mikey Graham, Jedward, Antony Costa, Darren Gough, Chesney Hawkes, Jodie Prenger, Ricky Groves and Faye Tozer.
Суть в том, что соревнуются две команды - кто из них лучше споет в таких экстримальных условиях на сцене, как: подвешивание на трапеции, когда вокруг лопаются шарики и сыпятся конфетти, когда на тебя накладывают змей, когда все вокргу крутится как центрефуга и прочие "радости". Смешно, иногда даже боязно за участников.
