'Dancing With the Stars': 'Idol' Pia Toscano confirmed to perform with Mark Ballas

In what has to be one of the most unlikely reality TV crossovers ever, a recently felled "American Idol" finalist is taking their talents to competitor "Dancing With the Stars."

ABC confirms to Zap2it --backstage at the April 19 results show just before the official announcement -- that surprise "Idol" eliminee Pia Toscano will sing during the April 26 episode of "DWTS."

First reported by TMZ, the nitty gritty of Toscano's appearance seems curious given the iron-clad contracts at "Idol." It will also fuel the media fire of speculation surrounding her rumored romance with "DWTS" pro Mark Ballas -- especially since Ballas plans to dance during Toscano's performance.

All American Idol contestants are popular from february til may. After that is another thing but for now she is America's sweetheart, poor eliminated girl. I think it is even better for her to have been eliminated early. Pity card

And concerning the romance - total game in my opinion.
